I earned my PhD in English Composition & TESOL from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. My research on academic literacy practices has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
My consulting skills were honed in a university writing center, where I coached students and faculty from any discipline and at any stage of the writing process. I also led writing groups and provided university-wide writing development programs. These experiences have given me a unique exposure to academic writing across disciplines. As an instructor, I have taught qualitative research methods, action research, and first-year composition. Additionally, I’ve taught in an intensive English program preparing international students to enter US higher education. Whether or not English is your first language, I can help you improve your writing.
